Feeding the ducks
Posted 9.34 pmMark and I are settling into our new apartment nicely. It’s right by the canal which gives some lovely views from our balcony and also some access to some pretty cool ducks! Today we took down some bread and fed the ducks and ducklings. They loved it! It’s so sweet to watch the ducks and their babies swimming up and down the canal, I could almost forget it’s Manchester city centre!
EDIT: Since looking on the net I have realised these are actually Canadian Geese… no wonder they are so big!

Those are Canada Geese, not ducks!

Yes you’re right! I have looked online since because I did think they were a bit massive to be ducks and they are in fact Canadian Geese!
We do have a few ducks down there as well though but they don’t tend to go where the Geese are.
