My friend came to see me today for a cuppa and a chat. A while ago my Mum bought me this cute teapot and teacup set and I hadn’t got round to using it. I pulled the set out today and thought what better way to drink tea than out of a cute tea set accompanied by some delicious cupcakes and a good gossip!
They certainly went down a treat!
I told you the other day about our new little ‘herb garden’ on our balcony. I was delighted to go out yesterday and see our first tiny tomatoes growing on our tomato plant! I love tomatoes and can’t wait until the whole plant is covered in luscious ripe red fruit!
Now that Mark and I have such a large balcony we thought it would be a good idea to grow some plants and herbs on there. We both love cooking and we love to use fresh ingredients. Lots of the recipes we use lots of lovely fragrant fresh herbs so we thought having lots growing on our balcony would be perfect! We had a lovely weekend when Mark’s father and Wife came to see us and they had grown us lots of herbs ready for us to sit on the balcony. It looks lovely on there now and the smell is amazing… I can’t wait to get cooking with them this weekend!
