Hi, welcome to my blog where I talk about my latest creations, what I have been up to lately and anything in the wonderful world of vintage and handmade jewellery, oh and occasionally other crazy things I happen to find.

I had an extra day off today, so I decided to make a bit of jewellery! The weather has been lovely here in Manchester, it’s inspired me to create some spring/summer jewellery designs. I decided to use this wonderful unique looking vintage fish charm which is of a typical nautical theme and compliment it with peach and grey coloured freshwater pearls and gold chain. I’m really happy with the simplicity of this necklace as it still manages to look unique. I’m hoping to be making some more designs similar to this.

Available on Etsy and Folksy tonight.

Yay for holidays abroad!

We booked our holiday today to Bavaro in The Dominican republic. We can’t wait as Mark and I have not been away together yet, well only to Robin Hoods bay for a weekend but that doesn’t count!

Here’s a couple of new Alice in wonderland themed creations…

First i have a beautiful Alice themed charm bracelet, handmade using gorgeous illustrated charms featuring Alice (in different scenes, illustrated), a clock and The White Rabbit and other ornate decorative charms such as a tea pot, Ace of Spacdes playing cards and other lovely bits..

These cameo charms are really beautiful and in my opinion make this charm bracelet look unique. The bracelet is made from a lovely thick gold bracelet and colour toned for a classic vintage look and feel.

To compliment the Alice Charm bracelet, I also made a cute Alice themed necklace with a beautiful illustrated scene from the classic story. The Alice cameo has been strung on gorgeous thick plated gold chain with a Swarovski silver drop. Gorgeous! Anyway i hope you like them.

Long Time No Blog!

Hidden Treasure

It’s been a while I know. I’ve been left uninspired for a couple of weeks and also came down with a dreadful virus last week so have been inside resting, only daring to venture out these last couple of days.

Yesterday I got out a few bits and bobs and made this Romantic necklace featuring lots of gold trinkets and treasures and an ornate pink and lace bow. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out and it makes a great tinkering sound when you move!

How quick is Christmas coming around? It only feels like a couple of months since last year and now I find myself yet again thinking that I’ll ‘start early’ and get it all done before anybody else. Manchester City centre is becoming more and more busy and I don’t want to get caught up in the crowds about a week before! I best get my plans into reality!

Hot hot hot!

Romance

The weekend proved to be a hot one didn’t it?! It was Marks birthday on Saturday so we went for some lunch and was out and about. At night we indulged in some drinks on our balcony.

I was at work today still doing lots of training ready for getting on the phones and speaking to real life people on Wednesday… feeling very nervous indeed!

Above is one of my latest designs featuring a cute little picture frame with some script writing in there. I may have to make one for myself too!
