Andre The Pygmy Hedgehog

I thought I would update you all on how Andre the Pygmy Hedgehog is doing. He is now 4 months old and is just adorable. He seems to have a liking for Mark (my partner’s) feet and can regularly be found trying to crawl up his trouser leg! We have also bought him a wheel and he seems to go on it all the time, apparently they can run 26 miles per night on a wheel!

Andre also has a big appetite and I regularly spoil him with Sunday dinner, scrambled eggs, mince and vegetables! Every night we wake him up at about 8pm and play with him although he doesn’t look too impressed when I force him to have kisses from me!

Here are some pics taken by our friend Adam. Adam is really great at photography and he also built this website for me!

Hope you are all having a nice Sunday! I am in the middle of cooking a nice Sunday dinner for me Mark and Andre the Hedgehog, but thought I would quickly blog about my latest vintage inspired piece of jewellery

I really love these bird cages they are so unique and really make a piece of vintage inspired jewellery to talk about. This golden bird cage has been attached to gold tone chain and is complimented with cream glass pearls and a peachy coloured satin ribbon. The size of the bird cage measures approx 2 inches in height and about 1 inch across

Hello all! I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and I wish you all a happy new year! Mark and me and Baby Andre the Pygmy hedgehog all packed our bags and went home to Scunthorpe for five days to join in with family celebrations there. We found out that my Nana has terminal cancer last month and I really treasured the time that I got to spend with her and the rest of my family. It meant so much!

We came home on Tuesday as I had to be back at work on Wednesday and half a day on new years eve (not much rest for the wicked). We have had plenty of time though to spend with our new little friend… Here is Andre looking a little bit guilty after escaping out of his play pen.

Today I made my first roast dinner with a little help from my Jamie Oliver cook book. it turned out pretty good, and 3 hours later Mark is still raving about it so I must have done something right!

Some exciting news… my new website has been designed and is now under construction so hopefully not too much longer to wait! I can’t wait to show you all! Here are a couple of new additions that I popped into my Etsy and Folksy Shops today.

Hi, sorry about a delay in posts but I have been so busy this last 2 weeks with the fairs, getting last minute orders out and prearing for my wonderful new pet’s arrival. We’ve named him Andre and he arrived on Sunday, having travelled from Hartlepool in the snow! (Well not actually in the snow, he was snuggled up in his box). He seems to be settling in quite well and in between sleeping is coming out for cuddles :o) Here’s a picture of him in his play tunnel, he’s coming up to 7 weeks old.
