Here in Manchester we have had a lot of rain lately! Well we do get a lot of rain here most of the time and I thought to cheer things up a little bit I would create these gorgeous vintage inspired Swarovski crystal earrings.
Gorgeous deep blue Swarovski crystal drops hang from perfectly formed brass ear wires. I have wrapped some lovely peachy freshwater pearls around the top of the crystal droplets with some delicate brass wire. If you look closely you can also see some beautiful Swarovski crystal rhinestones stuck onto the bottom of the crystal. Who says rain can’t be beautiful?

By now you will be familiar with the fact that I rate Laura Sparling’s beads so highly and last month I ranted about her beautiful beads that I used in my Purple Passion sterling silver bracelet. Well now I am back with another design made from some of her ‘Lumino beads’. These gorgeous beads do really seem to softly ‘glow’ as you look at them and switch between a pink and orange colour. I love them! I have made them into this pretty and cute little bracelet jewellery design featuring lots of sterling silver and fresh water pearls… and who could forget this sweet little satin bow to finish the look?!

I am really liking the freshness of these Mojito earrings, crammed with amethyst and featuring two of Laura Sparling’s lamp work beads! The problem is I really don’t want to sell them…. Oh what to do?!

Yes… un-finished objects! A term brandished about by us jewellery designers as we start a project and then abandon it in search of something new. These Carnival earrings have been just that. I made one some time ago and then neglected it for a few weeks whilst I went on to pastures new. I looked at the lonely earring today and decided to make him a friend :o)
Going on Etsy tonight…
